The History of Pesto Fest
Tri Cycle Farms' annual Pesto Fest and Pesto Contest started in 2012. The idea for the event was born from a donation of over 200 basil plants to the Tri Cycle gardens. With so much basil, it was only natural to find a good use for it. We decided the best solution was to invite our community members to come together to celebrate not only the delights of pesto, but also the joy of raising community! Thus, the Pesto Fest and Pesto Contest was established. The event has grown and developed over the years into our largest "farm-raiser" event, supporting Tri Cycle Farms operating and programming.
