Starting Your Garden with Herb Culver

Join us as our long-time friend and gardening guru Herb Culver explains best practices for various gardening situations. Learn about different potting soil formulas, soil amendments, and fertilizers. Then do some hands-on seeding and discuss germination, growing requirements, and transplanting. If there’s time, we’ll also take some vegetative cuttings of perennials.
Herb will bring along potting soil, amendments, fertilizer, and containers, and Tri Cycle Farms will have seeds to share. We encourage participants to bring and share seeds too. This will be an interactive workshop and we encourage everyone to share their own knowledge and experience.
$15 suggested donation, but no one will be refused entry if unable to pay. Class size is limited so register early!
