Starting Your Garden Indoors with Herb Culver
February 18, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Ready to begin your garden for the coming season? Join us as Herb Culver explains best practices for various situations. We will first talk about different potting soil formulas, soil amendments, and fertilizers. We’ll then do some hands-on seeding and discuss germination, growing requirements, and transplanting. If there’s time, we’ll also take some vegetative cuttings of perennials.
Herb will bring along potting soil, amendments, fertilizer, and containers, and Tri Cycle Farms will have seeds to share. We encourage participants to bring and share seeds too. This will be an interactive workshop and we encourage everyone to share their own knowledge and experience.
